WISCONSIN WINERY’S LABELS MAKE COVER OF NATIONAL MAGAZINE

Red Oak Vineyard is a family owned and operated winery located in Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin. It has been producing wine since 2003 and distributing wine since 2005. Its focus on traditional wine making practices has assisted it in receiving numerous awards in competitions throughout the country. Recently, its signature label was chosen to grace the cover of the May 2008 issue of Wines &Vines’ 9th Annual Packaging Issue. Wines & Vines is one of the wine industry’s most established and trusted publications with circulation over 5,000. The May 2008 issue focused on labeling and the difficulties wineries face in establishing brand identity. Red Oak Vineyard works with Sugarman Design out of Fair Oaks, CA to design its labels and WS Packaging in Algoma, WI handles the printing. WS Packaging recently received four first-place TLMI Awards for its printing of Red Oak Vineyard’s specialized label for Door County Ruby Cherry.
